An Orchestral Dinner with Soho House

We recently set the table for An Orchestral Dinner – an immersive evening hosted by Soho House for their Cities Without Houses community in Manchester. Set to a live performance by Speakers Corner Quartet and paired with a seasonal menu, the night brought together design, music and community. Glassette curated the tablescape with handpicked pieces to create a warm, intimate setting where every detail added to the experience.

We recently had the pleasure of setting the table for An Orchestral Dinner with Soho House, an immersive evening of sensory indulgence that brought together music, design, and community in perfect harmony.

Hosted as part of Soho House’s Cities Without Houses programme - designed for creatives who live outside the walls of a physical House. The dinner unfolded in a setting that celebrated connection through thoughtful details. Guests were welcomed into a candlelit space where every element was curated to evoke feeling: from seasonal plates crafted by Soho House chefs, to bespoke House cocktails by Bacardí.

Glassette was proud to supply many of the tableware and decorative objects that shaped the evening’s atmosphere. The tables were layered with considered touches, all themed around cobalt blue - chosen to complement the rhythm of the night. Every piece was selected to enhance the mood, invite conversation, and reflect our belief that a table is more than a surface, it’s a stage for memory-making.

The evening was elevated further by a live performance from Speakers Corner Quartet, the award-winning, classically trained ensemble known for weaving together orchestral soundscapes and contemporary collaboration. Their music filled the room with an emotional current, grounding each course in a sense of story.

This was not just a dinner - it was a curated experience. One that brought together food, sound, and setting to create a moment of pause, inspiration, and connection. Whether you live near a House or not, Soho House’s Cities Without Houses programme invites you into a creative global network, and we were honoured to be part of that invitation.
