Introducing G by Glassette
In 2021, we launched the Frenchette, a bistro glass inspired by vintage Parisian glassware. Within a few hours, it completely sold out & you DM’d us, emailed us & stopped Laura in the street to ask us for a restock and another one and one more after that. It felt like this was the glass you’d been looking for. Since then we’ve been working on something over the last year, designed with our Glassette community in mind. We’re can’t believe it’s really happening, but on Friday this week, we are launching our debut collection of Glassette own brand products.
G by Glassette brings you a brand new, five piece glassware collection; a celebration of form & simplicity. There’s a glass for every moment & mood. The Frenchette Bistro Glass, The Coupe Glass, The Red Wine Glass, The Tall Tumbler, The Short Tumbler. Each glass in the collection is handmade from lead-free crystal. The glass is mouth blown into moulds and then hand-engraved with ‘Glassette’ on fast turning wheels. It is time-consuming and skilful work, which makes each glass unique. The Frenchette Bistro Glass
Our iconic sell-out glass, the Frenchette, is a multi-functional bistro glass for white wine or a classic cocktail. It comes in a set of 4, a dinner party must-have and the ultimate gift for hosts/foodies and wine lovers. After many years of searching far and wide for the perfect French bistro glasses, unable to find a short-stemmed classic design, we decided to create the glass we’d been dreaming up.
The Coupe Glass
An iconic new champagne coupe, inspired by the simplicity of vintage coupe silhouettes. It comes in a set of 4, a true celebration glass - designed for gathering together and marking important moments at home. The classic coupe design is made up of a long stem and shallow bowl, ready for champagne toasts and cocktail hours. We love to use these as a dessert bowl too - for elevating fruit cocktails and ice cream sundaes.
The Red Wine Glass
An extra large version of our sell-out bistro glass, The Frenchette, designed for all the red wine (or big measure) enthusiasts. It follows the classic bistro glass design, this time with a larger bowl & finished with a tall, elegant stem.
The Tall Tumbler
An elegant, straight-forward, almost-pint glass. We’ve been searching high and low for a glass like this, so we decided to make it. It comes in a set of 4, ready to become your every day drinking glass at home. The minimal design is versatile and timeless & also great for stacking them in your cupboards and shelves.
The Short Tumbler
The finishing touch to any dinner table, this beautifully simple short tumbler is best for squash breaks and whisky toasts. It comes in a set of 4, a thoughtful gift for cocktail lovers and dinner party hosts. The minimal shape makes it a timeless companion to other glasses in your collection. We couldn’t find a simple water glass like this and so we decided to make it ourselves.
