This fine bone china soap dish has deeper-than-usual ridges, to elevate the soap bar and allow air to circulate around it. The generous size makes it compatible with most soap bars though, and allows for the bar in question be picked up easily.

Hand-painted detailing in either Cobalt or 24ct Gold traces the lines of the fine bone china to give the dish a sketch-like appearance.

About Feldspar

Feldspar creates ‘Objects for Life’, useful everyday items made properly. A family run design brand, they create handmade homewares in fine bone china from their workshops in rural Devon. Inspired by items their grandparents used daily that were fifty years old and still serving their purpose perfectly, they began by making a mug with a wonky profile - to sit perfectly in the hand - and a fine handle painted in a deep blue to echo the palette of classic chinaware. Each object is made using a method called 'slip casting' - pouring liquid clay into plaster moulds.
