These small indoor planters with delicate white beads are woven and hand embellished by Ariaal women from Ngurunit in Northern Kenya. Ariaal people belong in part to both the Samburu and Rendille tribes, and these baskets merge the traditional weaving techniques of the Rendille and the delicate Samburu beading seen in tribal jewellery.
