Checkered glass coaster in almond and transparent amber.

Adding a dash of warmth and colour to any room, this coaster has been created with alternating opaque almond and transparent amber-white streaked glass. These 2cm glass squares have been arranged to create a checkerboard pattern atop a clear glass base before being fired and fused at temperatures of 800°c.

The amber transparent glass is uniquely designed with the addition of white swirls and artistic streaks. Therefore, each square of amber glass is completely unique, and the amount of white swirling will vary from piece to piece.

About David Perry Glass Ceramics

David Perry uses kiln-formed glass to create bold and brilliant checkered pieces of artwork for your home. Founder David works from his home studio (that he built himself) which gives him a sense of achievement and is a testament to his many creative talents. Each of his pieces has been handcrafted using a variety of techniques including hand-rolled/slab build, thrown on the pottery wheel, hand-cut glass, fusing-glass powders, vitrigraph pulling, or enamel painting. David’s inspiration comes from life on the Cornish coast and his colourful discoveries as a professional Scuba Diver.
