Inspired by the Bilberry bumblebee limited edition bath sheet, an endangered species with distinct mustard yellow thorax bands a deep orange and red tail, often known as ‘the jewel of the Lake District.’ Widely found in Northern and Western Britain, often on moorland near bilberry plants.
The Bilberry bee is always found above 300m and its optimal altitude zone is 390-500m. Their main cause of decline are due to habitat loss and degradation, both of which reduce or eliminate the flowering plants it relies on.
