A cushion series inspired by faded sea-side granduer. Dyed in 'Blackpool Green' exclusively for Glassette.

The rectangle MINI cushions are dyed, washed and sewn by hand in small batches in the North of England.

Composition and Care

47 x 27cm Approx
Hand-dyed 100% linen, with raw fringed edging stitched as a non-removable cover. Filled with ethically sourced 100% wool fleece.
Spot clean only.

Kindly note, each piece is handmade and hand dyed, so colour and tone may vary between pieces. Due to the handmade nature, irregularities and makers marks may exist and are not considered defects. Linen retains its natural slubs.

About soosumsee

soosumsee is the brainchild of Manchester-based textile artist Bec Kirby. Drawing influence from reoccurring hallucinations she suffered with as a child, along with notions of death, loss and grief, the tapestries are in stark contrast to their origins. The current collection comprises of a series of cushions and woven tapestry blankets. The 'Carpet Cushions’ are entirely hand crafted in a home-studio, and tufted with locally sourced dead-stock wool. Each piece unique woven with it’s own story.
