Hand painted semi-porcelain bowl with designs inspired by the English garden. These bowls were first formed in plaster, carved on a lathe by Hal, then cast in semi-porcelain with the addition of hand formed handles. They are made from start to finish in East Sussex.

Decorative use advised. Wipe clean only.

Inspired by the V&A ceramics gallery, Sicilian antique shops and his Grandma Ann’s Sunday lunch tableware, Hal juxtaposes classical silhouettes with contemporary subject matters and decorative techniques. His work references film, history and the natural environment.
