Rinka has the meaning of noble, trustworthy and innocence. Mr. Yoshida wanted to express the blessing for a harmonious and prosperous family and healthy long life through this design.

The plate has a Matte-finishing. All the creations are HANDMADE by Mr. Yoshida. 

*Please note a special glaze was used to make the pieces which will show some subtle crackle pattern & slightly colour change with daily use.

About Cerani Studio

The majority of Japanese ceramics are from Mino ware, which was introduced by a Korean Buddhist priest over 1300 years ago as an earthenware product. At year 885-930, Emperor Daigo marked Mino as a tributary province, responsible for creating ceramic tributes to Daimyo. Over time, more and more potters arrived in the city to practice the art and their skills were valued highly.
