The perfect size for your morning cup of tea, these mugs are made using the traditional process of throwing and turning. The handle is pulled, making it extra strong, and then after an inital firing the mug is dipped into a tin white glaze. Lily's fingerprints are left visable in the glaze, a nod to the process.

About Lily Pearmain

Lily is a self taught potter living and working in South East London. She's driven by experimenting with processes and approaches to clay as a material, while keeping the work clean, often using simple forms. Predominantly she uses the potters wheel, even for sculptural pieces, and with minimal glazing. Her work draws on British studio ceramics and the desire to make good, quiet, beautiful, and strong pots.
