A classic for every kitchen, this Serving Board is carefully handmade from a single piece of quarter-sawn English Oak, known to be strong and stable. With a hole for hanging and a hand-shaped handle for a comfortable hold.

Each board has a food-safe, vegan-friendly finish of both mineral and walnut oils along with candelilla wax.

Whether used everyday as a chopping board, or loaded with meats and cheeses and a serving board, we carefully consider each piece to last a lifetime.

About Selwyn House

Selwyn House is founded by Sean Best and Ellie Smalls, who met studying Fine Art at Leeds Arts University. Always drawn to making things, Sean bought a second-hand lathe and began teaching himself woodturning. An all-consuming obsession for understanding and working with wood followed, and after making the move back to Ellie’s home county of Derbyshire in 2017, they formed Selwyn House, combining their creative talents to create small-batch handmade serveware & homeware from the best British-grown timbers they could get their hands on.
