These one of a kind tiles are 10cm earthenware tiles hand-painted by Sasha Compton in her London Studio. Inspired by delftware from Sasha's 4 years of living in Amsterdam and her love for wild swimming, they are a perfect contemporary take on traditional tiling. Sasha's perfectly imperfect work often depicts playful and joyful scenes, exploring themes close to her heart such as nature.

They can be framed, used as kitchen and bathroom coasters or a few can be ordered to create a larger surface for interior / table decoration.

These tiles are made from eathenware. Placing excessive weight on them may lead to crazing in the glaze. Wipe clean only, do not soak or dishwash as they have adhesive cork feet.

About Sasha Compton

Sasha Compton is a British Artist and Designer based in London, who explores the natural world around her using authentic production methods. With a colourful lens on life, her perfectly imperfect artworks and hand-painted ceramics are sure to add a splash of joy to any home. Sasha grew up in North Yorkshire and the Isle of Mull, Scotland. She studied at Central St. Martins (2012, Illustration) and then at Chelsea College of Art (BA Graphic Design in 2015). Sasha Compton was set up in 2020 and has since gained international press features in the likes of Vogue Scandinavia, Tatler, Elle Decoration, World of Interiors and more. She has worked with brands such as Martin Brudnizki, Thyme Hotels, Edmiston Yachts and Frameless Gallery.
