Dinosaur vase IV

This stoneware vase has a pattern made by inlaying speckled buff and black stained clay into the base surface, made from off-white clay, and then carved to complete the design. It is finished with a transparent glaze in some areas, leaving some raw surface exposed, creating interesting contrasts, textures and tone differences. It’s glazed inside with a purple glaze and can hold water.
