A deep, round-bottomed matcha bowl allows for effortless whisking whilst protecting your bamboo chasen (matcha whisk). Wheel-thrown in an off-white stoneware and individually hand-painted in black Stripe.

About Maizu

MAIZU works with clay to create objects that bring a sense of joy and appreciation for the minimalist’s home. Founder Mai is a ceramicist & yoga teacher, working with clay from her East London studio. Mai founded MAIZU with a deeply minimalistic approach as homage to her Japanese background and upbringing. She sets out to eliminate any unnecessary frills and clutter from her work, allowing beauty to emerge from less, rather than more. She carefully handcrafts each piece to represent a gentle reminder to slow down, cut back and lean towards manifesting a deeper sense of gratitude.
