About VED COOKS

VED COOKS produces naturally dyed, 100% Irish handmade linens for your home. Founder Verity started the business when she noticed how much food waste she was generating from every recipe at home. She started to experiment with the leftover skins from various foods and translated these into natural dyes for fabric. It’s important for Verity to create products that are eco-friendly, beautiful and useful so she uses the best naturally dyed Irish linen and hand dyes, cuts and frays in small batches in her kitchen. The colours of her collection are inspired by seasonal foods.

Wash by hand preferably or machine wash cold using a gentle eco-friendly PH neutral detergent or soap to help preserve the colour. Leave to hang dry. As with all natural things, colours may fade over time, to help protect the linen avoid leaving them in direct sunlight
